The time you place the bets doesn't really matter as the odds tend not to move much and if they do it is generally a drift. Final figures for the season when comparing the placement of the bets at various times:-

Profit/loss = + 25.36 pts - ROI = 20.9%
JUST BEFORE KICK-OFF
Profit/loss = + 28.49 pts - ROI = 23.5%
In a nutshell, there is no rush to place your bets and indeed waiting until the last minute has produced the better profit. As I generally bet on unfashionable sides (and therefore oppose big name sides) the general betting public tend to go the opposite way to us so our combined money is hidden.
It shows you how massive these markets are that our combined money has no effect at all on the odds. I think it is one of the strong points of the service that members can pretty much bet what they like on the recommended bets so I appreciate that I have to ensure that remains the case in the future. While I dont think there is any need to limit member numbers at the moment I will be keeping an eye out for any signs that the odds arnt holding up so well and will cap membership at that point.
